Sinopse

An adaptation of Henryk Sienkiewicz's prose. The beginning of the 15th century. There is a border conflict between the Republic of Poland and the Teutonic Order. The knight Jurand of Spychów, who hates the Teutonic Knights, repels their attacks on Polish lands. Those in retaliation kill his wife and burn the land. Jurand's daughter Danuska becomes a servant of the Duchess of Mazovia. She falls in love with the young knight Zbyszko from Bogdaniec, who vows to avenge her wrongs from the Order. Meanwhile, the ongoing disputes between the two countries are to eventually lead to open warfare, culminating in one of the greatest battles in medieval Europe....
