Sinopse
Don Birnam is a failed writer because of his addiction to alcohol, an addiction that has destroyed him physically and morally and made him a man devoid of will. As long as he continues to drink, he is capable of anything, even stealing. Both his girlfriend and his brother make every effort to regenerate him, but their efforts seem sterile.
