Sinopse

Captain Anson (John Mills) is the officer commanding a British Royal Army Service Corps Field Ambulance. During the Western Desert Campaign of the Second World War when it is apparent that Tobruk is about to be Siege of Tobruk by the German Afrika Korps, Anson and most of his unit are ordered to evacuate to Alexandria.
